Reut Gez Wang is an Israeli Dancer and choreographer.

Reut studied at the Codarts Dance academy in Rotterdam (2001-2005). following her graduation she was based in Amsterdam and for the next 15 years worked as a dancer with various choreographers and companies in The Netherlands and Europe. today she lives in Israel in the Artists village Ein Hod with her partner and three children. 

Reut is creating performances and dance films and she  teaches Gyrotonic, Gyrokinesis and dance.

"I find verbal expression often not precise for me. it feels like some emotions or feelings were never given a word to describe them. maybe its because verbal language was created by grownups that sailed far away from their body's expression.  When i dance i connect to so many emotions that i have no words for . the movement rise them from the deep authentic hidden me, move them through all my fears and all my dreams up toward my skin so i can sense the world around me.  every time i surrendered to the movement i feel the world in a different way.  its very important for me to do this self discovering journey again and again. authenticity is a fragile thing that i believe we are constantly searching for. in my performances i wish to confront the audience with the need to be your true self with all that it means. when authenticities meet a connection can happen. connection is what drive us all . "
